An Herbalist’s Deep Winter Regimen

  • Nourishing Tonic Tea Blend 2-4 cups daily, 3 days a week. Be sure to infuse the blend overnight to extract the full range of vitamins and minerals to support the nervous and immune system.

  • Take my supplements every other day especially B-complex, 5000 IUs Vitamin D, 400 mg Magnesium citrate, Trace Mineral drops in water, 1000-2000 grams Nordic Naturals Fish Oil.

  • Urban Moonshine Joy Tonic, 2-3 dropperfuls daily, or as needed, share with friends and co-workers.

  • Yin Time Tea Blend when I get home in the evenings, especially after stressful days, share with partners. This is my glass of wine replacement, when alcohol will not be a beneficial support.

  • Fresh homemade California Poppy tincture for sleepless nights (1 dropperful an hour before bed, 1 dropperful 30 minutes before bed, keep next to bedside just in case).

  • Apply Rebecca’s Rose Bath & Body Oil all over my body any time I get the chance, concentrating on the heart area when extra love and support is needed.

  • Sweet Love Tea to share with loved ones for teatime or after dinner to encourage heartwarming conversation.

  • Ashwagandha tincture or powder 3 days a week for the strength to persevere.

  • Albizia bark tincture for especially low and dark days or when the anxiety feels scattered and ungrounded.

  • Happy Tea or St. John’s Wort tincture if sadness is turning to frustration and anger or lingering longer than a few days.

  • Wisdom tea on the weekends to reset and strengthen my nervous system. This herbal blend is also wonderful to pair with deep stretching, body work, yoga and/or somatic practices for integration.
